HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

 

   Human resources management is one of the the emerging fields of study in our country.  Human resources management is a four semi-years higher education program which aims to educate qualified human resources that is needed by public and private sector organizations, universities, institutions of civil society organizations and other similar elements.

 

   Candidates wishing to enroll in this program should have strong verbal skills and should be successfull in this field of social sciences, can detect details, follow innstructions and influence others, should be interested in office work, people loving, democratic, patient, creative, productive, energetic and extroverted, workhoholic and researcher. After four semesters of the individuals training program of this nature, the program will have raised skilled human resources professionals who have the responsibility of taking decisions, who can contribute to a comprehensive work force management and who have administration and management functions. As this program is lack of sufficiant number in Turkey, our graduates will be the most demanded candidates of the sector.

 

   With human resources management program, it is aimed to raise graduates who can manage to organize employee relationship management, occupational health and safety practices, training planning, performance and compensation management, career planning, recruitment and interview techniques and other related human resource practices. By developing the managerial skills of students, they will be ensured to manage themselves and the others.

 

Areas for Graduates

   The students who graduate fro human resources management program;

-          Can work at State Planning Organization, State Institute of Statistics, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, all public institutions and private organizations.

-          Have the opportunity to find a job İn every sector, every manufacturing and service activities, regardless of subject area and also in all areas of Human Resource Management sub-functions (eg recruitment specialist, career development specialist, training officer, the job security specialist, like a member of the staff and administrative affairs)  human resources, staff / expert / consultant / manager.

-          The ones who are successful in their current workplace can be Human Resources Manager or Personnel Manager. In addition, they can work

-          At education and human resource consulting firms,

-          At public and private employment agencies,

-          At statistics and research institutions,

-          At trade unions,

-          At provincial / regional labor offices.

   Besides these, graduates also have the right to enroll in undergradute programs by taking the vertical transfer exam tbenefiting from "Vocational School Graduates and the Open University Associate Degree Graduates Undergraduate Program Transition Regulation" .
